More pictures of my super cute/way advanced/perfect child

A little nap before church so she can be super well behaved. Pretty sure the other kids do not nap before church because they are super noisy...whatev

WARNING: DO NOT LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING IMAGE IF YOU DO NOT FIND BABY SNOT BUBBLES HILARIOUS!

Poor Syd has been suffering from her first cold this week. Yes, at 7 months! She even has a SUPER advanced immune system.

I have had this outfit hanging up like a decoration in her room since before she was born. I finally decided to have her wear it.

She always looks down right as the picture flashes. It reminds me of the TV show "The Middle" there is a character named Brick. A little boy who likes to look down and repeat things he says in a low scary voice. Google it, you will laugh your pants off. Also, he reminds me of Tyler Brown a little bit.

Today was a big/special/monumental day.

1st towel turban! A big day for every girl.

First hair do, or "whoop de do" as Ben Brown would say. Even her hair is super advanced, she is the first one in her play group to have a hair do. Could I BE any prouder?!

Here she is practicing her shifty look for passport photos later in life.

Now you have reached the end. Just one more photo of my little darling! I heart her!

Lest you think that all I do is lie around and drink diet coke all day (I only do that on Tuesdays and Thursdays)...here are some projects I have been working on. Since we are not going to get our house after all I decided to spruce up our apartment and make it more homey.

Painted some frames black and hung pictures above our bed, also hung up my espanol signage.

Painted and put new fabric on this chair for our room

Put paper and mod podge on these letters.

Changed some of the ribbons on this decoration from our wedding so Syd can have a mobile.

Bought this little chair at the DI and painted it pink.

Here are some pictures for Grandma who misses Syd.

Seven months old tomorrow!!

These are clothes I had been wanting for a long time, they finally went on clearance, yay!

Today we went to Burlington to get Syd new shoes (in my world babies wear shoes). I saw this toy and cracked up. I totally wanted it but thought I should not waste money on something so silly.

Then I saw the price tag

How could I not?!

Syd went right to town, yum:)

These were on sale at food 4 less yesterday, 1.99 per dozen. That is right 1.99 ONE DOLLAR AND NINETY NINE CENTS! I bought two dozen. Happy birthday/mothers day/ anniversary to me. Oh and Neils birthday was on the 18th, so happy birthday too honey.

Also I forgot to post one more dating story before our anniversary. In short: we played the dating game in our singles ward for family home evening, I was bachelorette #2, I was chosen as the winner. The ward gave the guy two movie tickets, he said "I will call you on Wednesday to tell you when I will pick you up for the movie".

Guess who never called?
Guess who never even mentioned it or apologized for standing me up?
Guess who is still 31 and single?
Yeah

The End

PS Lately Syd and I have accidentally been dressing in matching outfits. It always makes me laugh. I don't think Neil believes that I don't plan it. I might start doing it on purpose.

Sisters weekend

Remember these babies from December?

They decided to get their moms together for a little reunion.

We pretty much had the best time ever. Becky and Rachel flew in on Wednesday night and Andrea and mom drove down Thursday afternoon. They all went home on Sunday. Bless Neil's heart, no, seriously bless his heart for putting up with us, we had so much fun!

We went shoe shopping

only two of these pairs of shoes left the store. Can you guess which ones?

Yum, fish tacos:)

Jersey Boys, with a LOT of "Authentic Jersey language" but still, the music was so amazing, we had a great time. Thanks grandpa!
Twins, I love that they pulled the same pose.

we laughed our guts out...

...ate our guts out...

played with accessories

Gracie likes it too!

shopped some more, got our eyebrows threaded, ate some more, laughed some more. Thanks for coming to celebrate with me everyone!

Happy Birthday to Me!

My mom was on bed rest for 6 weeks and I still came into the world one month early. I am sure that there were times when she was raising me when she thought "wow, this child was soooo not worth all that hard work since she may not make it to her 10th birthday!" Thanks for keeping me around mom, see, I have turned out to be a really nice person:) My mom always threw the best birthday parties, seriously. I hope I inherited her skills for making birthdays the best day ever! It's funny because in our family the rule was on your birthday you did not have to do any jobs, like help with the dishes, it was beyond awesome to be able to sit there and watch your sisters slave away mwahh hahaha. Today I am actually really am excited to clean my whole house and do laundry, it is my birthday present to myself...I must be growing up.

Thanks for my present Neil! Now I can do laundry all day long! Yipeeee:)

Okay really I am pretty sure Neil will be giving me some other presents later...I hope. Tonight we will go out to dinner at Sweet Tomatoes. 1. Because I love it 2. We have a two for one coupon.

Next week my mom and sisters are coming to visit and we are going to do all kinds of fun and crazy stuff, like eat out for three meals a day and go to a strip show. Which BY THE WAY, ahem, means a show on the strip, not a show with naked people, although Thunder Down Under is having a two for one local deal right now...tempting...but no. We are going to see Jersey Boys which is the story of Frankie Vallie and the 4 Seasons. I am pretty excited, we are going to woop it up big time! If Neil shows up on your doorstep one night, just know it's because the insanity of having 5 women and two babies in his apartment drove him away!

Boba Fett

When we moved in I always noticed this truck full of shopping carts every Sunday as we left for church. It took me a while to figure out what was going on. Then it came to me. He is a shopping cart bounty hunter.

Awesome.
