Famous by Friday

I don't really know what the above phrase is supposed to mean, but it's what my old co-worker said when she sent me the following video.
Remember at my old job and I was in a commercial? Well, the word on the street is that it is on cable in St. George ESPN, Spike, Court TV, Lifetime, etc. Since I know you have all been dieing to see it, here you go! BTW in case you don't know, I am the one on crutches, shaking the lawyers hand. If you would like an autograph I would be happy to oblige:)

Sweet little Evie

A kind of old picture, but I think it's really cute:)
Our sweet little Evie has to have surgery tomorrow. I just wanted to let everyone know so you could keep her in your prayers. She has what is called Vesicoureteral reflux click on the link to read about it because it is kind of tough to explain. Becky is planning to blog after the surgery to let everyone know how it went. They will go to Primary Childrens Hospital tomorrow and will have to stay over at least one night. The hope is that after the surgery she will stop having so many infections and get feeling better:) We love you Evie! Good luck!

Do not bring a horse....

So last night our garbage really stank, Neil said he would take it out and I went with him. The dumpster is at the end of our parking lot. Our parking lot backs up to the parking lot across the street from the temple, the two are separated by a fence. Recently the church decided to really fix up this temple parking lot, it is nice and smooth with lights and trees. The other night Neil noticed that people were riding bikes in the temple parking lot, we thought it was kind of weird, but I reasoned that maybe they were just learning and the parking lot was the perfect spot to practice (it's dark out but there are lights, nice smooth surface etc.). So back to last night. Neil said "Look there are people out there again.." I peeked through the fence and here is what I saw.

People riding bikes wielding croquet mallets.... we laughed and I said to Neil "It's kind of like they are playing polo with out the horses" Welllll...I think they were! Check out this article

okay, so this is not exactly what I saw, but it was too dark for me to take a picture with my own camera..

Have you ever heard of this? I just thought it was bored University Students thinking up something to do on Sunday night....

Big Winners!

Okay, here goes...this is so exciting! And the winners of Sara's Blog Pay it Forward Extravaganza are.....
Kelly Mear! A last minute Entry, whew, that was close!
Nicola Jensen aka Kalaka- yay! Thanks for entering:)
Bethany Hilton who lives in an airport with a growly baby! Hooray!

Please email your address to me and I will send you your prize...and remember to pay it forward!

Now. For those of you who are silently sobbing because you did not win, there is hope. Have you heard of this movie?

Me either, but I ran into their website, and guess what?! You can get free tickets to see an advanced screening of it. Just go to their website and follow the links.

Now, I am not going to guarantee that this will be a great movie. Personally I hope it turns out to be more like "The Best Two Years" than "Gods Army" (that scene where they take a picture of that missionary on the toilet is so offensive! Even though Neil has one just like it in his mission scrapbook). I will be interested to see what you think about it, after you watch it leave a comment!
So, go get your tickets and don't say I never gave you anything.

The Big Drawing is Today!

Okay folks just a few more hours to enter for your very special prize! I will draw names and post winners at 4:00 PM.

More Derby Photos

This poor car lost both of its back tires...but it kept going..
We sat next to this cute baby with painted toenails, her mom says she paints them while she's asleep:)

Tim was staring at me all night...totally creeping me out.

The grand finale was truck vs. 15 passenger van. The van totally won. Then the driver of the truck got in the van and rammed into his truck until it flipped over! It was a rip roarin good time and I can't wait for the next one, which by the way is at the begining of are all welcome to join us, but your wardrobe will be reviewed before we go. ;)
